TENO

The Salmo Teno

This amazing and unique lure has been designed by one of the best Finnish salmon and trout hunters. Tarmo Palosaari is a fishing guide on the Tornio River in Finland. Salmo Teno is the result of his long-term experience in trolling for salmon. This lure has amazing abilities to keep stable action even in the strongest river current. Thanks to the unique weight balance and innovative triangular shape of the lip, action of Salmo Teno is very irregular.

More About the Teno

The Salmo Teno

The Teno is balanced like no other lure to perform in fast current and runs with a very irregular action. Fish love it and so will anyone who fishes this bait. You can troll or cast the Teno with equal success. You won’t find the Teno blowing out or hard to tune, they are ready to fish right out of the package.

New for 2005 is the Teno SDR. Some might say it has the perfect body shape and size for walleye, but there is little doubt that Salmo Lure designers did their homework when designing the all new Teno SDR. It digs down deep, won’t blow out at higher speeds but is easy to cast or troll. The thin body profile can improve your strike to hooking ratio by as much as 30%.

As with all Salmo lures, we recommend you fish the Salmo Teno with a snap or loop knot. The lure will aggressively shake your rod tip, so you’ll know the second grass or a fish is on the lure.

With such a great action, and a near perfect baitfish profile, it will not take long for the Salmo Teno to become a classic in our American waters.
